5Perfect server for the price, granted it meets your requirements
By aj
This server, for its price, is a freaking BEAST. And the seller is very polite and quick to respond. I had one question in regards to this product before buying and the seller got back to me within an hour i believe. I been shopping on Amazon for over ten years and I rarely get a prompt and very nice response when I have a question about a product. Server is our print/quickbooks server and has been running for over two months without one issue.

My only nit picking comment, which still doesnt annoy me enough to give it a lower rating, is that the bios bootup process takes longer than our server that is atleast 8 years older. GRANTED, this server has TWO cpus and TWO psus and a butt load of ram as well as 8 hdds with a raid controller so there are FAR MORE checks and balances that the server does before loading into windows.

5Best server on the market in my opinion
By Brian B.
I usually do not write reviews until Ive had a product for a few months, so since I purchased this unit in November/2015 its time to let you all know my thoughts.

This beast has been running non stop since I put it into production. I have been working with nothing but Dell R510s, 610's and 620's since they were offered. As an IT consultant I personally have these deployed with most of my clients as they are easily mounted anywhere, I have mine mounted vertically in most of my clients offices as well as my home network (see pics)

Currently I have VMware vSphere 6 running on two R610's in my home network with a third being spec'd out right now to take advantage of vSphere 6's vSan technology. Both have 72Gb Ram, X5560 six core procs. One has 2 - 160SSD drives w/ 4 - 1Tb Sata drives, the other has 6 - 300Gb 10k rpm SAS drives. I have about 17vm's running on one and vSphere VC appliance running on the other with a FreePBX running as well.

This is my test network that I use to test out options that clients want on their networks before I deploy that solution to their network and it has worked out absolutely beautiful. TechMikeNY was the vendor I bought both of my systems from and they worked from the gate, with the exception of the Raid battery that I need to contact them about on one of them, I've had no problems thus far in 6 months of production use.
