5Great for beginners who want program
By Abigail D.
If you are a beginner and you have little to no concept of programming, this book would be a good first step in learning. This is book is able to introduce you to the types of programming and its elements, give you definitions, and teach you the basic fundamental of program writing. It provides you with sample codes that show you one way of approaching a certain scenario, such as declaring string variables, using loops, etc. Once you got the basics from the previous chapters, in the later will introduce you to advance programming. To get the most out of this book, I would advice you to download coding block, where you can practice what you read.

3Not exactly what I expected
By zac
I decided to give this a try because I have programmed before but do not claim to be very good at it. I was expecting this book to walk you step by step on how to make games or something, but it really just walked you through the history and terms of each programming language.
